For children in Grades 2-6

Please register for each week you will be attending. 

If you are registering as an absolute beginner, please plan on arriving at 2PM. Beginner instruction will take place during the first 45 minutes of the program.  
If you are registering as a player with experience, you can participate in open play from 2-3:30PM.

After 2:45, beginner-to-Intermediate instruction will continue to be provided but within a club format where the majority of chess learning happens through practice and play, observing other games in action, and always asking questions! An introduction to the many free chess apps and sites where kids can learn and improve independently (between club meetings) will also be provided! 

If the number of players in attendance ever outnumbers the available spots at boards then some players may need to wait just a short time until others rotate off of a lost game.
