Ask a Muslim Anything with Robert Azzi
Monday, November 67:00—8:30 PMMultipurpose Room 138Tufts Library46 Broad Street, Weymouth, MA, 02188
Robert Azzi, a Lebanese-American and a Muslim, is hoping to change the conversation on Islamophobia with his discussions Ask a Muslim Anything. This program was developed by Azzi to create a safe and open space for people to listen to his experience as a Muslim in America and ask any questions they have. Robert Azzi speaks not as a scholar or academic but as a neighbor, fellow citizen, and person of faith.
Azzi has been traveling throughout New England—at the invitation of local communities to speak about his life, what it’s like to be Muslim in America, how he came to convert to Islam, about the religion of Islam and its history—especially in America—and about the Middle East, terrorism and associated political and social issues. Join us for an open, compassionate conversation.
