Join us for a monthly concert presented by the Boston Classical Guitar Society! Concerts are the first Saturday of the month from October 2025 - May 2026. 

The April 4th concert is the Bester Roeder Duo on Guitar & Flute.

The Bester Roeder Duo brings together flutist and educator Amanda Roeder and guitarist Michael Bester in a versatile collaboration. Roeder directs award-winning choral and a cappella programs at Chelmsford High School and is an active theater director and performer. Bester is a guitarist, bassist, arranger, and composer who has performed widely in chamber ensembles and pit orchestras. Together, they blend their diverse musical backgrounds into engaging performances.

There will be an opening performance by Ewan Armstrong, the recipient of the 2024-2025 Frank Wallace Fellowship sponsored by the BCGS. He will perform BWV 998 by Johann Sebastian Bach (1675-1750) I. Prelude II. Fugue III. Allegro.
