Have you ever spent a lot of time typing up a document in Word, only to discover later that you can’t find it and you don’t know how to share it with someone? In this class, you’ll learn how to save the work you’ve done on a computer so that you can do things like access it later and share it with others. This skill is applicable to many different things you can do on a computer. To get the most out of this class, basic comfort and familiarity with using a mouse and keyboard is recommended.

Byte-Sized Basics is our new series of tech classes for beginners. Fun and low-pressure, they’re designed to get you started with the things you need (and want!) to do, without getting bogged down in tech jargon. From learning how to use a mouse to getting familiar with key vocab terms, we will give you all the tools to start using a computer with confidence!
