Join educator, author, consumer advocate, and construction consultant, Richard Connolly, for a fun, interactive, and informative class that removes the guesswork from renovations.
This six-week, adult education course provides homeowners a roadmap to research and plan their remodeling projects from concept through completion. It includes several presentations by subject experts, a survey of materials and products and their impact on labor, a case study, and an analysis of comprehensive, detailed labor and material specifications as a means of obtaining competitive bids, controlling costs, and establishing performance-based payments. The program emphasizes relationship-building over construction and the importance of developing an effective network that meets or exceeds your expectations for quality, price, and performance. This is a repeat run of of this very popular and well-received workshop.
This workshop is designed for people undergoing a multi-faceted project involving multiple professional tradespeople.
Please register once for all 6 sessions. Registration is not complete until it is approved. If your registration is approved, you will be notified no later than 9/17/2024, which is 1 week before the start of the series. Registration is limited to one person per household.
