Tony Andrade: Cold Wax Demonstration
Tony will be using a painting medium of organic cold wax and oil paints in his demonstration today, that will include techniques and the basic tool supplies to begin the journey with Cold Wax as a medium in your art work. Wax is used at room temperature it can be brushed, spread, and smeared on your canvas or Masonite Board and is flexible, workable, and semitransparent. You can build up layers, paint thick like impasto works. With realistic paintings wax is flexible for layering and adding contrasting textures. Add visual texture with stamps, stencils, and masking. Interesting qualities with collage elements.
